A HUGE Thank You to Our Local Museums!

Behind every mural in Murals on Main, there's a story, and a lot of that story came from two incredible local resources who went above and beyond to help us tell it right.

A heartfelt thank you to the Great Lakes Lore Maritime Museum and the Presque Isle County Historical Museum for generously donating their time to dig through historic photos and images of Rogers City for our artists to use as inspiration.

This festival's theme, "Past Meets Paint," is all about honoring where we come from and we couldn't have done that authentically without these two museums sharing their knowledge, their archives, and their passion for our local history.

The payoff is going to be incredible. When you see these murals come to life downtown, know that pieces of Rogers City's real history are woven right into the artwork, thanks to the research and generosity of these two amazing local institutions.

Thank you for being such an important part of bringing "Past Meets Paint" to life!
