I want to share something with y’all.
See that orange pumpkin? It’s ok, but nothing special. The burgundy pumpkin is the same pumpkin…different color.
The burgundy pumpkin has been sprayed with the clear acrylic coating. I used it because by I was out of the sealing spray I normally use. I think it really takes the pumpkins up a few notches and hopefully helps hold color.
Now I wanna spray everything!
Oh…pumpkins are the cheapies from Walmart and I got the spray at Hobby Lobby if y’all wanna grab some.
I’m all about the budget this year…you know “almost retired” and all that.

First day of fall is Tuesday the 22nd! Are we doing this or sitting it out under the air conditioner?
I finally dragged myself outside to pressure wash and begin the process of fall decorating. It was hot!!
I’m keeping it simple but really loving it so far. If I pull in the driveway and blast the AC it kinda feels like fall. Seasons change whether we’re ready or not. Life changes whether we’re ready or not!
I’m getting older and I don’t care. If we haven’t run into each other lately, I’m sporting a full head of gray hair, my second great grandson will be here in December, the kids and granddaughters are all doing well. I’m enjoying this season of life with or without the pumpkins. I sincerely hope each one of y’all are, too.

What’s up? I have not seen the first home decorated for fall. Is it the heat? Or the economy? Or something else? As for me….I’m just not feeling it this year. Y’all help me out. Motivate me! It’s my favorite time of the year.
