Hey Northeast Antler Family!
It's been a little while since we have posted (admittedly social media isn't our strong suit) but we are very much still here and still doing fresh moose antler dog chews that many of your pups have come to love.
We are posting tonight for a two fold reason- while we had planned to run a sale for the holidays already, we have found ourselves in need of raising funds to support the emergency surgery our kitten, Potato, underwent on Sunday as well as his stay in critical care and subsequent diagnosis.
Potato was a kitten found in the barn that we have raised from a bottle since he was a week old. He is So loved and we are doing everything in our power to help him through this tough time. After recovering from an upper respiratory illness, he took a sudden and severe turn that resulted in many urgent vet trips and ended in the ER with emergency surgery. His diagnosis- intestinal intussusception and 2 perforations (to which he lost 20cm of his lower intestine), a septic abdomen, pancreatitis and peritonitis of the abdominal wall. This is life threatening and he is just 8 months old. 36 hours after surgery we then learned that he also has a diagnosis of wet FIP- another potentially fatal condition, but is treatable with the right drugs.
We are in this deep and love him so much. We are pulling out all the stops as he remains in critical care and despite some really tough odds he continues to make improvements.
So today- instead of a holiday sale- we are running an Emergency Potato Sale.
