We work hard to build a business, serve our customers, and provide jobs in our community. Then someone breaks into our building, and we’re left with broken windows, damaged property, repair bills, and the frustration of picking up the pieces.

For a small business, those costs matter. So does knowing that the place you’ve poured your time and money into has been violated.

We believe New York’s bail laws need to change, especially when it comes to addressing repeat offenders. Business owners shouldn’t have to wonder whether their property will be targeted again. Victims deserve support, and our community deserves meaningful accountability.

A HUGE thank-you to the Rome Police Department for their prompt response, and Officer Hale for his professionalism in taking the reports and following through. We appreciate your work and dedication.

We’ll clean up, make the repairs, and keep moving forward—but we shouldn’t have to keep paying the price for someone else’s actions.
