HOZHO JEWELS
Meet Hozho Jewels—beautiful Indigenous-made jewelry created with natural stones, shells and beads that bring the land and sea together. Every piece is one of a kind and carries its own meaning and story.
Different varieties of turquoise represent the many journeys we take throughout life. Just as no two journeys are exactly alike, no two pieces of turquoise are either.
Mother of Pearl is included in every piece, representing our second mother who guides us and offers clarity. Spiny oyster symbolizes strength, adaptability and resilience—a reminder of our ability to overcome hardships and continue moving forward through life’s changes.
A few pieces also feature hand-gathered juniper beads, also known as Ghost Beads. These berries are picked from juniper trees in Arizona, carefully cleaned by hand and prepared one at a time. They bring Hózhó—a Navajo word meaning peace, balance, beauty and harmony—and are traditionally worn for protection.
These pieces are so much more than something beautiful to wear. Each one carries a connection to nature, culture and the journey of life—from the physical world to the spiritual.
We are incredibly honored to have Hozho Jewels at Rooted & Wild Studio. 🤍
