Hey everyone! Couple of bits-- 1st off- This week Midnight Spider-man #1, Midnight Fantastic Four #1 and Midnight X-men #1 are the only releases for Marvel! They be rocking the world. I have plenty of copies on hand.

2nd bit-- for the two or three people that hit me in the first hour this morning and I had failed to pull the copies back for the Marvel Midnight releases- I am so sorry I dropped the ball in regards of having the comics set aside.

There never was a concern that you were not going to get them, but I have had a bit of rough little go this last week. Infinite excuses, but the biggest one is that I have had trouble walking. I rolled my ankle last week walking back from my neighbors and then when I went to mow my lawn this weekend, I had my leg give out and I hit the ground- I've been loaded up on Advil and ankle braces.

I realize that it was only a couple of folk, and they seemed okay with everything, but I am pretty irked with myself.

On shelf

It is looking more promising this morning. Data is showing that one of my Pokemon shipments is in the 'hood.

Sometime this afternoon will be when it will go on sale. It will be based on the delivery time and when/if I can get the shipment inventoried and processed. That will be a problematic today, both with it being new comics day and the more people waiting inside the shop, the longer it will lake for me to get it done.

It is looking like today will be pretty crazy.

Shipment was tendered to UPS, but the tracking data has not been provided. So, at 7:30 PM on Tuesday Sept 15th, I cannot give info yet when my Pokémon 30th may arrive. I will check again when I get into the shop at 6 am tomorrow morning.

Most Wednesdays, I start at 6 am. I am finishing up the details from my comic shipment, in addition, I am prepping the cardboard recycle and I try to do a deeper vacuuming job than I can when I have customers coming through.

Hello everyone-- I do not normally post about Pokémon, since it is so volitile and I do not receive enough to make everyone happy.

However, I have misspoke this last month. In my head, for whatever reason, I had Friday Sept. 19th as the release date for Pokémon 30th Anniversary. I stuck with that even though I had emails from my supplier telling me that it was going to not arrive early, that they would try to get to me the day of release. ( I had two mistakes going on there....)

This morning I found out that the Day of Release is Wednesday, September 16th. It will NOT be on the shelf when I open on Wednesday. As of right now, none of my Pokémon has been delivered to either UPS or Fed-Ex. So I do NOT have tracking information. If everything works perfect, it would arrive on Wednesday, whenever the truck arrives.... I should have the tracking information after close on Tuesday, September 15th. With how inconsistent the shippers have been, I cannot tell you exactly when it will hit the shelf.

Plus, Wednesday is new comic book day. A very busy day for us. I will post some updated info once I have a best guess, but that will be what it is- A guess of when I will have it.

I will do my best-- Brett

These things happen...

A truck carrying several of our comics was involved in an accident while en route to distribution. Most importantly: no one was hurt. The comics, however, were not so lucky.
They were pretty thoroughly decimated by the forest.

Unfortunately, that means the following titles will not arrive for their originally scheduled on-sale date:
• Event Horizon: Inferno #5
• Sonic x Godzilla #2
• Star Trek 60th Anniversary
• TMNT: Journeys #13

The good news: replacements are already being handled, and all four titles are now scheduled to be in stores September 9.

We appreciate everyone's patience. Please support your local comic shop and pick them up 9/9!
