If your dryer's taking two cycles to dry one load of pool towels, dryer sheet residue on the lint screen might be restricting airflow. Here’s how to test it:

1. Take out the lint screen
2. Run water over it
3. If water beads up or doesn't drain through, the screen is clogged

A scrub with warm, soapy water and a soft brush is all you need to fix it. Remember to air-dry your filter completely before reinstalling.
If your dryer's still struggling after that, give us a call.

Hearing your fridge run more than usual? Noticing condensation building around the door? Check your fridge door seal with the $1 bill test:

1. Stick a dollar bill halfway in the door
2. Close the door
3. Try to pull the bill out

If it slides out easily, the seal is leaking. New gaskets are relatively inexpensive, and replacing them can be fairly DIY-friendly (built-in and French-door fridges can be trickier). Of course, if you'd rather not chance it, give us a call!
