Went to the today. Found some super fun junk wax packs. ‘89 hoops looking for Jordan. 1991 upper deck baseball looking for the Jordan SP and the Hank Aaron or Nolan Ryan Autos. Chances are so low but got all these packs for the price of two current blaster boxes. Such a fun cheap rip

Non-Card Content…at my Kids’ football camp with the UW-L football team. Love to see them host a camp for young kids to keep that love for football going strong. Keeping kids interested in sports will build lifelong skills and friendships. Love to see it.

I love trading cards. Been doing it since the 90s. I like trading more than selling. When both parties walk away happy and with cards that they love, you can’t ask for anything more than that. Take a look at this trade I did back in 2017 with . This was an even-up trade. The values aren’t even right now like they were 8 years ago, but they are pretty close. The only thing that kept it from being even today is Trout’s current market.

Note: I don’t have any of these cards anymore; they have all been sold or put into other trades.

Going though past orders today, and my bulk order from April 2019 stood out. I had TWO silver prizm Mahomes, a Lamar downtown, and an Ohtani /99 all get 10s…in the same order. Combined, they totaled about $600 in April 2019. Today, they total about $17,000.

You never know how the players will perform, which players to hold or sell, OR how the market will fluctuate, but I do wish I still had these cards today. I also wish grading costs $10/card now like it did back then.

Crazy news in the hobby. CU (Collector’s Universe) is apparently buying . They already own and . Will this bring BGS back to relevance? In the mid 2010s and earlier, BGS 9.5 could actually sell for more than PSA 10. I love BGS’s slab, their sub grades, and the fact they do not up upcharge if your card grades well. CU announced none of those things will change at BGS, and it will continue to run independently. Fingers crossed. IMO I hope CU just helps on the communication and technology side of things.

may go down as the best player of all time. Every year he does something that stuns the world. Whether it’s being a 50/50 player or going 3-3 with 3 HRs in the while striking out 10 in the same game. I picked up this card in March and it’s one of my favorites in the collection. A 1/1 Rookie Card is a thing of beauty.
