Fairy dust in my eyes

Some days, the further I get from reality, the more joyful life feels.
Though it can’t be measured or timed, and you can’t see it or hold it in your hand.
Joy is hard to explain, even when you’re in the midst of it.
It doesn’t make you laugh; in fact, you can often find yourself crying tears of joy.
I love feeling joy in my heart, and I’m woeful when it begins to wane.
I’ve tried clutching at it as it begins to slip away, but to no avail.
If I were trying to describe Joy, I would say it feels like having Fairy dust in your eyes.

2025 - Opening my mind to all things. A wise friend once said, "Be open to everything and attached to nothing." That is my mantra and chant for this new year. I want to remove all previous judgment and commentary from my conversations and mind talk and invite unfiltered knowledge to surround me. My goal is spiritual— insight.

Many of us will face challenges in 2025. My goal is to work at spending my time wisely. Not giving energy or headspace to overpaid talking heads on TV. But instead, trusting my intuition and creating a life space for living in peace, full of gratitude and minimal desires. We are enough; I am enough.
