“Firefly” Petroleum Quartz is a variety of quartz crystal from Madagascar. Its most distinctive feature is the presence of golden-yellow petroleum inclusions that fluoresce vividly under ultraviolet (UV) light, emitting a glow reminiscent of fireflies, hence the name. Specimens often exhibit unique structural features such as skeletal, elestial, and scepter formations.
