We pride ourselves in American manufacturing and we stand behind each and every product we sell. 5 Alarm leather was born out of the passion for tradition, quality, and pride in the American fire service. Established in 2003 by a Professional Firefighter from a major city fire department. 5 alarm leather has design, developed, and tested each of its products to meet the demands of the professional "Jake". In March 2009, 5 Alarm Leather was purchased by our family.

Greg dedicated more than 30 years to the fire service and retired as a Fire Captain with a California state agency in 2008. Today, he continues serving the fire community by handcrafting each piece of leather gear with exceptional attention to detail. His goal is simple: create products that firefighters can rely on throughout their careers. 🚒

When he’s not in the leather shop, Greg enjoys spending time on the family’s farm, caring for their animals, and embracing the slower pace of country life. Although retired from active service, his passion for craftsmanship and supporting the fire service remains as strong as ever. 🚜

As the woman-owned half of 5 Alarm Leather, Corinne is the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of our family business — and a proud wife and mom of three. ❤️

From customer service and order management to marketing, product development and everything in between, she keeps things moving behind the scenes. But you’ll also find her right in the shop, working side by side with her dad, Greg, handcrafting the leather gear that leaves our doors.

From building custom orders to answering your messages and packing up shipments, chances are Corinne has had a hand in your order somewhere along the way.

For her, 5 Alarm Leather is more than a business — it’s continuing a family tradition and carrying forward the craftsmanship and personal service that have been at the heart of 5 Alarm Leather for more than two decades. 🇺🇸

⚒️Since 2009, we’ve been honored to handcraft leather gear for firefighters across the country. Every radio strap, chin strap, axe belt, glove strap, and custom order is built right here by our family.

👨‍🚒Greg Sr. brings over 30 years of fire service experience and continues to handcraft every piece with the same pride he had as a firefighter.

👩‍💼Corinne manages the day-to-day operations, answers your emails and messages, builds your gear, and helps continue the family tradition.

👨‍💻Behind the scenes, Gregory Jr. keeps everything running smoothly with website updates, inventory, and order management.

This axe belt came back to us after years of hard service, and we gave it a full refurbishment. Built in 2013, refreshed in 2026, and ready for many more years! 🔥

🔥 60+ AXE BELTS. ONE FIRE ACADEMY. 🔥

This order was a big one—over 60 custom axe belts with securement straps built for the recruits of Miramar College Regional Fire Academy in San Diego.

We recently had the honor of building a batch of radio straps for the son and fellow coworkers of John Davis, the original creator of 5 Alarm Leather.

John’s vision, craftsmanship, and dedication helped lay the foundation for what 5 Alarm Leather is today. Being trusted to create these straps for those closest to him made this project especially meaningful.

Thank you for allowing us to continue the tradition of quality craftsmanship and service that John started in Sac City at Station #4. 🚒
