Perks of being with the same person for 20 years...no boundaries or insecurities. I went downstairs to get back to work after finishing midterms so I could photograph for marketing and noticed something was added to my set up. I asked him how he knew I wanted this and his response, “Oh I waited until you fell asleep and looked through your phone at your search history to see what you searched for the most in the past few months and bought it.” My oh my do I seriously love my husband. #38

As she prepared his meal, calmness surrounded her. She began to softly hum their song as he walked in the room and gently wrap his arms around her. He leaned in to kiss her cheek and spoke the sweetest whisper, “I love you”. She lives through her afternoon with a smile imprinted in her.

Love that is true is not quite the blissful perfection fairytale endings leads us to believe. Some days are sad, some peaceful, some filled with laughter and play, some with tones so loud they disrupt your soul. True love is ALL love. The hardest parts and the best parts. As each year passes, it becomes simple to just love one another. Simple steps to move through those tough moments. Simple disagreements, simple communication. It becomes this way if you both decide it to be.

Our 20 years is just right around the corner and I love our simplicity that we created together.

To be apart of this adventure of never ending self discovery, self love, self transformation, self commitment; community, sisterhood, selfless reciprocity is blissfully ineffable. I am graciously honored for being welcomed into this circle of open hearts and loving arms.

Ceremony is for my heart…

Each day I take this moment. This is my daily ritual for the past year. Days used to blur together - consumed by tasks, by a non stop work flow, focused on social media for business, too tired to truly laugh, too busy to spend a few minutes to respond to a friend or call someone I love to say hi. I hyper focused on many things I believed held weight. I was wrong. It’s okay to be wrong, it’s okay to hit pause & start over in the ways needed.

I woke up one day & I decided to just STOP. I made a plan so I could have the time I needed to adjust and I just stopped so I could work on me & it was honestly the best decision I have ever made. It started with a simple cup of Cacao & a once a week gathering of like-spirited women. I decided to stop caring about making a mark & I started caring about becoming. For me…status, money, how many people that purchase from me, how many followers I have…means nothing.

This is my truth.

What matters to me are the bonds I make, the relationships I put my heart into, the memories made. My babies, my husband, my heart, my smile, my best friends & whoa do I have some incredible best friends…I have more than one! Does that make me lucky? No. I’m not lucky to have these things, I decided these people & having certain things in my life mattered THE MOST. So I put my focus, my effort into them until it grew, overflowed, overwhelmed me in the BEST ways. Everything else that comes along is just the awesome additions but will NEVER again become things that will make or break ME. The greatest feeling one can have is freedom.

There is no right way or wrong way, there is just YOUR way that’s best for YOU. If you find that you have people in your life that can’t love you, honor you, hold you, lift you in your darkest times, share the light with you, rise with you, build you…then they do not deserve you. Cacao, she provided MY circle.

Cacao is THE tool, THE medicine that helped restore balance. It helped open my eyes to a greater understanding. She spoke to the deepest parts of me. Each day I give a piece to her and to me. She’s more than just a yummy chocolate drink…

I have been asked time and time again what my ceremony is when someone hears me talking about it.

My ceremony is when my heart is able to speak freely, when my mind is given the space and peace it needs, when my spirit is able to be whomever she wishes to be.

My ceremony is when I get to play with my crystals or charge the crystals for . My ceremony is the time I have to interpret signs the universe is giving through one of my beautiful decks. My ceremony is my ME time.

My ceremony ends and begins with Cacao. She is my heart, my mind, my body, my spirit, my everything. My ceremony wouldn’t be complete without my cup of . Life began with her.
