his week in Roswell, Georgia reminded me what true community looks like.
In a matter of moments, hundreds of vendors were faced with unexpected change. Doors closed, plans shifted, and uncertainty filled the air. But just as quickly… people showed up.
They showed up with helping hands, kind words, and unwavering support. They showed up to lift spirits, to encourage, and to remind one another that no one is walking this road alone.
Because of how quickly vendors had to clear their spaces, organizations like MUST Ministries were flooded with donations—an overwhelming blessing. And in the most beautiful full-circle moment, they turned right back around and served this community… providing meals from Flippin Chicken to the very vendors navigating this transition.
That’s what community does.It gives. It receives. And then it gives again.
Messages poured in from the Roswell Moms Network, Roswell SNOBS, local businesses, and from so many across Roswell, Marietta, and East Cobb—checking in, offering support, and promising to stand by small businesses in the days ahead.
It’s easy to feel shaken in moments like these. But this week proved something powerful…
When one door closes, community doesn’t just open another—it builds a whole new foundation.
And for that, I am incredibly grateful. 🤍
