Hey! Our Marvel Super Hero Prerelease Tournament is about a week away! On Friday will be holding a Two Headed Giant Prerelease.

Friday, June 19th - 6:00 PM

For both events, buy-in will begin at 4:00 PM, deck building will begin at 6:15 PM

If you do not have a partner for the Two headed giant event, please arrive early and let the event organizer know so we can help you find a partner.

Saturday, June 20th - 1:00 PM

Buy-in will begin at 12:00 PM, deck building will begin at 2:15 PM

Themed deck event: Sunny Days

This is a fun and casual event where each participant creates a deck revolving around a certain theme. The theme this time will be Sunny Days. Your deck will showcase Pokemon and Trainer cards you believe best fit this theme.

The best voted themed deck will receive a surprise Pokemon item. There will also be a tournament before the theme vote. The winner of the tournament will receive one of the newest Pokemon packs. Additional prizing will be based on participation.

Date of event will be June 13th at 1pm. Buy-in will be $3

Rules for decks:
1. The deck size will be 40 cards instead of the standard 60.
2. There must be 5 electric/fire type Pokemon AND/OR Pokemon whose art features a shining sun or represent a the theme. Duplicates count towards the required 5.
3. This event is unlimited, so cards from any set are allowed (with the exception of rule 4 cards).
4. No cards that will reward more than one prize card are allowed in the deck (No ex, vstar/vmax, mega, etc)
5. All other deck rules still apply.

We also welcome anyone who would like to learn how to play the Pokemon TCG. We will have two decks available that match the theme of the event available and will help teach anyone who wants to play. If you want any help or ideas on building a deck, don’t hesitate to reach out to Akira or come in on Saturdays 1-5pm during our Pokemon open play! All ages are welcome, all we ask is that kids are able to read most of their cards and are capable of basic math (adding and subtracting by 10s).
