Salt & Sage Natural Skincare Handcrafted naturistic skincare. Made with purpose and grounded in nature. I also have gift items, accesories and womens clothing. Hello! Welcome to my page.

Formulated with high quality ingredients to bring renewal, healing and balance to your skin. A little about myself and my business. Im a female enteprenuer and mother of 3. Former EMT and Dispatcher so I have a love for first responders and a love for serving our community. Im also absolutely in love with handmade skincare! Desert Rose Soaps has been in business since 2019. However, I've been making soaps and have had a small soap business since 2016. I started out experimenting with bath bombs because my 2 daughters love them! As I started looking into handmade soaps and other skincare products with all the healthy benefits; I realized it was something that could benefit my entire family. We all have sensitive skin and have had issues in the past with commercially made soaps, deodorants, perfumes etc. So.... I bought books and I watched YouTube videos until I felt comfortable making my first batch. The rest is history. I fell in love with the way it made my skin feel and all of the endless options I had at my fingertips for ingredients and formulating recipes. Not to mention it's better for the environment too. I started sharing it with family and friends. Now I'm excited to share it with you too! Thanks for coming to Desert Rose. 😊 I realize there are a ton of other options out there for handmade soaps and skincare. I truly appreciate you. 🙏

Good morning friends! I made a favorite 😍 Oatmeal Milk & Honey! I made it very simple this time. If you have been with me over the years, you know I like to add bees and hives and pretty embellishments. But this year I’ve learned to appreciate simplicity. One day at a time, and one step at a time. It’s beautiful without being loud.
These soaps contain tallow, coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, castor oil, sweet almond oil, mango butter and cocoa butter, goats milk, aloe Vera juice, oatmeal and a few coffee grounds mixed with the oatmeal for color and exfoliation. ❤️
These bars will be ready soon! And I am working on more for the holidays! 🫶

There’s something so good about creating again. 💛

After a long stretch without making new soap, I finally poured a fresh batch—and it felt wonderful! It’s a small batch, but so much thought and care went into this recipe.

Made with tallow, olive, avocado, coconut, castor and sweet almond oils; shea, mango and cocoa butters; colloidal oatmeal, goat’s milk and a touch of aloe vera juice, this bar was thoughtfully formulated with a creamy lather, lovely cleansing feel and lasting firmness in mind.

The scent? Spiced Berries & Vanilla—a beautiful, cozy blend that feels perfect for fall. 🍂 The pink turned out softer than I planned, but I’m embracing those sweet pastel swirls!

These beauties are just beginning their cure, and I can’t wait to share the finished bars with you. More batches will be coming soon, each created with carefully chosen ingredients and your enjoyment and satisfaction at heart.

It feels good to be back at the soap table doing what I love! Thank you for being here as I begin creating again. 🧼✨
