Hey there! As longtime customers know, we don't really have space for in-store gaming these days, however we have partnered with Spare Time Pflugerville to run Star Wars Unlimited events on most Saturdays.
With new TCGs releasing, we're looking for some volunteers who might be interested in running organized play for new games for us. You'll get the organized play kit to provide prize support and you'll get some bonus cards as a result of that. Each TCG seems to have its own scheduling and reporting system, and we're happy to help out with that, but we need someone to be our representative on the ground to welcome people in and make sure the games run smoothly. In general, you should be able to play in the events as well if you want to.
Coming up soon is Neuroscape (an original Cyberpunk TCG) and Cyberpunk (which we have a volunteer for, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind a little help). We could also use someone interested in trying to build up a Riftbound group, tougher since the availability of cards is so limited, but we do get cards for prerelease... and the venue has expressed interest in Magic the Gathering, which is more involved but we'd be open to trying it.
Drop us a line if you think you might be interested! At this time we're not planning on running Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, One Piece, or other TCGs largely because of availability issues.
