The Bait Shop once again has a good selection of handpicked lures by Capt Ian Devlin for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke, Black Sea Bass, Weakfish, Atlantic Bonito, Little Tunny, Spanish Mackerel, and more.

Striped Bass of various sizes are starting up now both shallow and deep areas, soon to follow will be Fluke and Bluefish. Come talk with Ian at the shop for any advice, and how to put odds in your favor to have a successful fishing trip.

We’re always adding new small businesses and products we love, with a focus on ocean-safe, clean, and sustainable goods, while creating a fun place for the coastal community to stop in and hang out.

New in the shop: handmade ceramics by Gabrielle Jolie. Crafted from her studio just outside Portland, Maine, each piece is hand-built, individually illustrated, and completely one of a kind. Inspired by the sea with just the right touch of whimsy, these treasures are the kind of pieces that make everyday moments feel a little more special.

Fishing season is here. Stripers are moving, the water’s warming, and now’s the time to get rigged up right.

We’ve got a solid lineup of jigs, plugs, soft plastics, rods, reels, and the gear you actually need to fish our local waters. Whether you’re casting the beaches, working the river, or heading offshore, we’ll help get you dialed in.
