An Artisan's Emporium A storefront for handcrafted and vintage items supplied by local artisans and vintage dealers in Person County and the surrounding area.
(1)

An Artisan's Emporium began as a search for a retail outlet for local craftspeople to share their work with our community. After many months of discussion and meetings, a small group of 3 met with a local developer to create a vision of a local marketplace in Uptown Roxboro. As a part of preparing our community for this market venture, pop-up markets were help to showcase the works of local talents. These pop-up markets were well attended and supported by the local community, preparing a path for a retail business to begin. Artists and crafters have been contacted to join this artisan adventure. Store opening is set for August 2106

🌸 Handmade happiness for your fridge! 🌸

Look at these gorgeous Flower Frog / Refrigerator Magnets, hand made by Marsha Arnold!

Each one is totally unique — perfect for holding photos, notes, and recipes, or for arranging little flower stems in a vase.

Which design is your favorite? The sunflower? The little red birds? We can't decide! 😍

These make the sweetest gifts!

Look at this beauty! 🍄

This one-of-a-kind lidded mushroom with hidden storage inside was hand-turned by local artist Ronnie Pendell from maple.

We love the details on this piece — the natural live bark edge, the gorgeous wood grain on the pedestal base, and that perfect little twig handle on the lid. It's hollowed out and smooth inside, so it's great as a decorative keepsake box.

Signed on the bottom. Truly functional art!
