❣️ Hello my friends… I know I have been MIA for a little bit.
Life’s journey took some big turns and I’ve had to just stop, focus on family, try to collect my bearings (which I don’t know that will happen for a hot minute still) and have been trying to figure out next steps.

As you know went in for gallbadder surgery, which went smoothly and I’m healing up fine, but what unexpectedly came about is my beautiful mom went in to the ER on the same day and her news wasn’t what we wanted to hear and it’s lead to her coming home on hospice care. To say the least it’s been a whirlwind the last two weeks and we are still trying to wrap our minds around everything and my focus has been on her and my family and trying to know how to navigate this difficult time.

I have no definite answers for how the shop is gonna be run and when I will be able to be open. As of right now I’m just kinda planning on opening as I can and hoping and praying my customers/peeps keep their eyes peeled for those times and opportunity to still come shop and support The Eclectic Closet as much as possible.
This is literally a figuring it out day by day process right now. I hate that when these hard times hit, the things that really don’t matter (like finances and bills and money) don’t give you a break… it actually feels like they increase and just add to the hardship. But these are the moments when our faith in the One who does know all things and has got to be the place we let it rest and believe that He has plans bigger than the mountain in front of us and know He will get us through 🙏🏼✨ (Isaiah 41:10 the best reminder and promise)

So with that all said please bear with me and don’t give up on the little Closet just yet and know I’m trying to keep it all flowing as best I can until the next steps are revealed… and if you would be so kind to keep my mom and family in your prayers I would appreciate it very much 🦋

Hug your loved ones extra, keep love and kindness leading the way and know our days in this part of the journey are never promised so and we got to focus on the things that really matter most…

Let me tell you about Pam! The girl has a KILLER CREATIVE mind, knows her décor design like no other and has the most phenomenal fashion sense!!! She is my muse! 😍

✨Everyone, meet Lauren!!! ✨

🧚🏻‍♂️This sweet girl has offered to volunteer at The Eclectic Closet and she has been a helpful hand that I am very grateful for!!! She has the best fun, funky flair and is ready to greet you with her sparkly smile for all your shopping needs!!!!

Little Miss Lauren is part of the amazing military family community that has been such an important part of our town and understands that lifestyle so many of our community members know so well! A self proclaimed “military brat” if you will and she has moved all over the place but has found she loves it here and has landed in the the little town of McKenna as her home and is working on starting cosmetology school soon!! Which she will rock I have no doubt! ✂️🤘🏼💈

She will be covering the shop today and tomorrow, Sept 10 & 11, and I would so appreciate if you amazing shoppers would go in and keep her plenty busy and show some big support to your favorite little ✨

✨Time to  reveal the next helper at The Eclectic Closet for tomorrow, Wednesday Sept 9!!✨

Meet Franklin Grammer!!! My brotha from anotha m***a!! 🥰
We met in high school when he first moved here from Hawaii (he’s my sunshine island boy ☀️) and we were instant lifelong friends, even when time and distance took us in different directions, God knew we needed to be brought back together and I’m so grateful that He did! Cause I couldn’t do life without my dude 💛
I can promise the shop wouldn’t be where it is today without him… he has helped me so much in creating the space we all love so much and the love he added is felt every time you walk through the door! Thank you Frankey Baby for that! 🫶🏼

And if you know this guy, you know how incredibly amazing, wonderful, kind, caring, COOL and phenomenally talented he is and how absolutely FUN he is to be around!!! He makes you feel so special and beautiful and just loved just to be in his presence 💛
He is a gift to our town and world! 🙌🏼

So you don’t want to miss your chance to come in and shop and show some love in return to a man that exudes so much himself! 💞 He is so deserving to feel the love back he gives so generously and freely! So let’s flood him with all of it tomorrow guys!!! ✨

Side note:
I am still working on recovering, it’s coming along! But I do have some big things (not so good, but will be turned into blessings) that life’s journey likes to throw in our path that I will need to share in due time and it will affect the shop and how things will be running differently. That is all for another post, and when the time is right. I want to give everyone a little heads up that some change is coming ✨
So just keep showing up and shopping and loving The Closet like you all do! 🦋

First week of having some of THEEE BESTEST volunteers run The Closet for me while I’m recouping from getting my little gallbladder out is in the books! I want to thank everyone who popped in and shopped and showed my ladies who were there this week all the love and me too! I’m so very grateful, it means so much to me ✨
Both said they had a blast and met some of the coolest, kindest peeps and that just warms my little heart ❣️
(Literally when I say little, it’s not just a metaphor… the surgeon said it was the littlest gallbladder he’s ever removed and that all my organs were basically micro-sized! lol I guess that happens when your only 4’8”! I wish I would have thought to ask to keep my gallbladder! Weird I know, but I like that kinda stuff 😂)

We will be heading into the second week soon and I guarantee you will L🫶🏼VE the next week’s volunteers as well! 🤩

✨I’ll give you a hint of who will be in on Wednesday… He loves dance and all things musical and is a phenomenal chef and is just a wonderful man who helped me get The Eclectic Closet up and running almost THREE years ago! Trust me you will definitely want to swing in and shop while this guy is here!✨

My recovery is going well… definitely not a walk in the park, but I’m a tough little bird and I’m making it through 😉 And I have the best support and help from my tribe and I am so very appreciative for them… especially my girls, they have shown up for their mama and have loved on me so much I know they are the magic ingredient to my healing 🥹

🦋And to all of my amazing customers who came in and shared prayers and encouragement and support and found treasures they loved and purchased… THANK YOU so much!! There is not enough words to say to say how thankful I am!🦋
