SB219 is sitting on the Governor's desk. What makes this moment a unique moment? If this bill is signed, it will be the first psychedelic therapies movement to be enacted through a legislative effort, not a ballot measure like Oregon or Colorado. What makes this moment not special, or not unique? Arizona passed a similar but different bill just last year, and their Governor did not sign it, making it a pocket veto.

Y’all, SB 219 just passed the House!!!

This is monumental, and we are so close to realizing the dream of being able to utilize plant medicine to treat the most pervasive and challenging mental health conditions currently facing New Mexicans.

The final hurdle to this bill becoming reality is Governor Michelle Lujan. Let her know that SB 219 is important to you and that’s it’s a good bill for the state of New Mexico!
