💔After 14 incredible years in business, it’s time for me to share some sad news: Mountain Thrift & Video will be closing its Running Springs storefront.
As many of you know, this has been a very difficult decision I've been considering for quite some time. I absolutely love the shop for so many reasons, and it has been so much more than just a business to me. It’s been a place full of memories, conversations, laughter, and connection. Over the years I’ve met so many wonderful and interesting people from all walks of life, and that’s truly what I’m going to miss the most. So many of you came in as customers and left feeling like long-time friends.
It has truly been a family business. My kids grew up in the shop and, although they might not have loved every minute of helping Mom 😊, we've all shared countless memories here over the past 14 years. I'm incredibly thankful for all the help my family has given me over the years -- I couldn't have done it without them.
I’m also deeply grateful for the way this community has shown up with donations and support over the years. Because of your amazing generosity, we’ve been able to help animal shelters and hospitals, homeless individuals, foster families, and others in need, as well as several local youth organizations. That has always meant a lot to me, and I love that Mountain Thrift & Video could be a small part of that.
As we begin winding down the storefront, everything in the store is now 50% off as part of our liquidation sale. In the coming weeks, we’ll also be selling many of our fixtures, furniture, and retail supplies.
The good news is that this isn't goodbye! While the physical storefront is closing, I plan to continue Mountain Thrift & Video online, so you'll still be able to shop with me -- just in a different way.

I have so many wonderful memories that I'll always treasure, and I'll forever be grateful for everyone I've met because of this little shop.
