Juno's Tree Farm was started in 2018 when Jesse moved back to SW Minnesota with his Golden Retriever, Juno, and purchased an acreage

south of Rushmore from Glad Henning. At that time Jesse had an idea to grow Christmas trees as a hobby and maybe sell a few of them in town. While he was researching this idea Jesse joined the Minnesota Christmas Tree Association where he was introduced to and fell in love with the idea of a Choose and Cut Christmas tree farm. The thought of being able to provide a fun, outdoor, family friendly experience centered around Christmas trees has provided Jesse with the inspiration and motivation to pursue his dream. In the spring of 2019 Juno's Tree Farm was blessed with the key addition of Andrea, who would quickly become the farm's Chief Love Officer. In early May Juno, Andrea and Jesse along with a group of excited friends and family planted 1300 baby Christmas trees, and the tradition of Making Memories at Juno's Tree Farm was born. This fall Andrea and Jesse Walker, along with Juno and her "little" brother Emmet, are excited to open the farm to the public and give others the opportunity to experience creating memories with their loved ones on this little piece of paradise. While the vision for Juno's is to be a full service Choose and Cut tree farm, the trees planted in 2019 need a little more time to mature. Thanks to a partnership with a wonderful family owned and operated tree farm in northern Minnesota there will be a healthy selection of quality, fresh cut trees available in the 6'-9' range, with the ability to special order larger trees in advance on an individual basis. Wreaths, porch pots and various other Christmas related items will also be available, along with cookie decorating, wagon rides and s'mores, all in a family friendly setting perfect for Making Memories with your loved ones this holiday season.

It’s a very special day today at Juno’s Tree Farm! Happy 5th Birthday to Emmet, Juno’s “little” brother!! Emmet adores Juno and always wants to help her on the farm, Juno would say he is a little too obsessed with playing ball.. We got everything mowed in preparation for tree sheering, and got our Pines trimmed yesterday. Nice shot of rain about 5am this morning and the place looks beautiful! Lots of nice trees coming again this year, we are looking forward to another great Christmas season coming up in 2026. Hard to believe it will be out 3rd season of hosting families at our farm! Hello to all of our tree farm friends! Little off topic today but want to reach out to any of you who have dogs in your family. Doing a little cleanup today and we do have a few things left that would be nice for some last minute (or additional) Christmas decorating. A few trees, some premade as well as build your own pots, a couple wreaths just made last weekend and some beautiful white pine garland. Thanks to everyone who came and got a tree from us this year! We are honored to be a part of your holiday.

We would love to see your trees decorated up. If you want to, please comment or send us pictures of your trees.

We would especially love to see a photo of our beloved Brutus (see picture) who was adopted and brought to a new home yesterday. We hope that his new family is enjoying him as much as we did.

We had a good day today at Juno’s! Thanks to all those who came out to get their trees and to all my coworkers from Bedford Industries who came out for Bedford’s after hours event.

We did sell almost all of our larger pre cut trees (we have two lightly sheared 12’ Frasers) but still have some 6’-7’ white pines and balsams we can cut from our fields. We have some beautiful holiday planters and all the materials if you would like to build your own, as well as some wonderful gift ideas inside the warm and cozy barn. Come out to visit us and enjoy some gourmet hot chocolate, we will be open from noon to five.
