New bucket sticker design idea just dropped! It isn't finalized! Our logo isn’t just a design it represents something deeply personal to us. The “5 Boys” in our name & on our logo stand for our three nephews of my brother who passed, and our two boys. The shop keeps my brothers memory alive every day. We’re thinking about using this updated logo for our bucket stickers and possibly our merch, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. Would you put this on your bucket, cooler, truck window, or tackle box?

Frozen cigar minnows are one of the most reliable summer baits for:

• Kingfish — Prime July trolling bait nearshore/offshore.
• Spanish Mackerel — Aggressive feeders around passes and bait schools.
• Mangrove Snapper — Excellent cut‑bait on reefs, bridges, and rock piles.
• Tarpon — Oily baitfish like cigar minnows still produce around passes and beaches.
• Grouper — Solid option for bottom fishing ledges and structure.

🎣 ICAST 2026 Was a Game Changer for 5 Boys Bait & Tackle again this year!

This year’s show was one of our most productive yet. We hit ICAST on July 15th and again on July 17th, and both days were packed with wins for our shop and our customers.

Over the last three years, we’ve been working hard to bring in new products one of them being BULL BAY RODS and now it’s finally happening.

We locked in new partnerships with new distributors , new gear, and new opportunities that will completely level up what we can offer.

💥 Major Upgrades Coming Your Way:

• New products.
• A bigger DMF bait‑worm fridge is now in the shop which means more varieties for all our freshwater fishermen. Just waiting on new inventory to fill it!
• We’re now directly buying from several companies, which will drop costs significantly and bring better pricing + better products straight to you.
• And the biggest news…
We have massive changes planned over the next 2½ years. I know you all see the new changes almost daily in the shop.

🎣 Huge shoutout to Hadley Woods and his girlfriend Jena!

Saturday morning was something special. Hadley stopped in first time since moving away 10 months ago and he was shaking with nerves. He’d been messaging that he was moving back… but really, he was gearing up for something bigger.

He came in early to grab bait and quietly told us the plan: after 3 years together, he was finally proposing. He was taking Jena out to an island where her friends were waiting, popping the question, then spending the rest of the day fishing.

A little while later he came back through the door this time with Jena and she still had no idea he’d already been here once. They both grabbed hats to wear for their big day and headed out the door smiling.

I couldn’t be happier for them. They’re truly the sweetest couple… and honestly, how can you beat gaining a lifetime fishing buddy? 🎣

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July!
As we celebrate freedom and community, I want to say a special thank you to all my amazing customers, family, and friends for your support and patience during our remodel and move.

We’re not completely finished yet, but we’re getting closer every day and we’re excited for you to see all the improvements as we continue adding new touches and new products to the shop. Keep watching… big things are still coming!
