Love setting up for workshop. The herbal tea workshop is something I’ve loved learning about. Fresh, dried and all kinds of other ingredients you can add to make wonderful, health, decaffeinated drinks.

Parents of Teens — We Need Your Ideas! 🌿🎬🎲

We do a lot of workshops and events for adults, but we know there just aren’t a lot of things around town specifically for teenagers to do.

We’d love to change that — but we want to hear from teens and their parents first!

If we started hosting occasional teen events at Green Thumb Nursery and in the Secret Garden, what would your teenager actually WANT to come to?

A few ideas we’ve tossed around:

🎬 Outdoor movie nights
🎲 Game nights
🏐 Outdoor games & competitions
🌮 Food + hangout nights
🎨 Creative workshops
🌿 Hands-on outdoor activities
🎃 Seasonal or themed nights
🏆 Team challenges/tournaments

We would most likely separate events into different age groups — younger teens and older teens — so the activities, atmosphere, and age group feel comfortable and fun for everyone.

But these are just ideas. We want to know what THEY would enjoy!

Parents of middle school and high school students: ask your kids and drop their ideas in the comments. And teens, if you see this, we especially want to hear from you!

What would make you say, “Yeah, I’d actually go to that”?

We have the space — now we just need to know what our local teens want. ❤️
