I have created a new group by the same name. This will enable everyone to share on our group page. It has the same name, Crafts and Chats at Logan County Public Library.

Meanwhile, I will try and figure out how to get rid of this image. Hahaha.

Clocks have been moved forward, spring has arrived and spirits are up. All the brightness of spring can be enhanced by joining us on Thursday. Bring in your bright spring project or cheery conversation. All are welcome, with or without crafts. Remember, half the title of the group is "chats".

Last week we sat together at the bew bird viewing area. It was so relaxing and the bonus of bird watching.
This week, we'll see if that area is available and maybe continue with crafts, chats and birds. Join us each Thursday, noon-2. If we're not in the meeting room, check out the bird watching area. I look forward to crafting with everyone.

Terri Reynolds Carrell has sent information about a wonderful camp in Florida that is in need of donated knit or crochet afghans.

If anyone would want to crochet or knit an afghan to donate that would be wonderful. The afghans can be any pattern but they need to be machine washable. Afghans should be 35-40 inches wide by 40-50 inches long. Any color! Smoke free home would be good since the children that receive the afghans all have medical conditions.

At the camp, each bed has a bear and afghan waiting for the camper. Each bed has 3 quilts that remain at the camp. One on the bed, one to wash, and one to spare. There are 8 sessions each summer with 150 campers each session. Twice a month the rest of the year is family weekends where all partners and siblings in the family get to come to camp from Friday-Sunday. all children attending these sessions also get a bear and afghan. Not cost to the campers.

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted. Our wonderful library has kept our space available for anyone to come in a chat while crafting. They are so wonderful.
In some amazing occurrence of events, I am able to go to the library this Thursday. I am so excited to meet some new people and visit with long time friends.
If you would like to join in on the lively conversation, we will be in the library meeting room, Thursday, noon-2.
Grab a craft project (or not) and join the fun. See you there.

Thank you everyone that has participated in Crafts and Chats.
I have been asked to see if there is still interest in the group. I know I love seeing everyone when I am there. I have made new friends, renewed friendships and learned many new skills. We have shared many laughs and joys.

The Meeting Room is reserved for us each Thursday noon-2.
Still open to anyone interested in joining.

I may be late with my posts, but there is still time to visit the library and craft together. Last weekend was knit in public day. We could make it craft in public day in Logan County.
Join us any time between noon-2, at a gathering section.
