Have you ever passed by the old wooden stand? Only a few old steps are all that remain. If that old wooden stand could talk, what would he say? He would tell us of the hunter that built him back in the day. He would tell us about all the bucks that they killed and the story of the big one that got away. He might even tell us of the big buck that passes by him every other day. He would be sure to tell us of their last hunt together and make sure that we know, time stands still for no one, we don’t know our last day. The next time you pass that old wooden stand, be sure to stop and give it a stare and pay a little respect to the man that once hunted there.
