1/3 of our population was not born when this event happened. We must strive to make sure it’s not forgotten. On 9/11 , I was on 2nd shift but called by the deputy chief to come in early and help close down the court house in cook county. I won’t forget that day. Where were you on that day? Share so we don’t forget .

Chow Hound Diner and Dive Bomber Vintage are so honored to host the Welcome Home Veterans Quilt. Group. Yesterday Roger Dedmon, Lawerence Lester, John Calvin Hoskins, Earl Buddy Morrison, Bell DeBlander, George Allen, Glenn Cauthren, and David Michael Lane were presented with an individual hand made quilt. Thank you all for your service and Welcome Home!!! It is so moving to see each vet wrapped in a handmade quilt of love from these dedicated and caring ladies !!!
