I pieced these penguins together for the quilt. There's rock hoppers, chin straps, African penguins, a little baby, and more! Which one is your favorite? I personally love this first guy here. He's a rock hopper with personality!

It looks so small outside but it's the biggest quilt I have made so far!

Here's a rainbow to brighten up this gloomy day ☁️🌈

Clover Exploration came to me with this idea to make seed packets filled with tiny beads and other small objects. I gave it a whirl and made a whole rainbow assortment. It was fun picking the colors and what "seeds" would go inside 💛🌱

All horizontal and vertical lines are done on the quilt. Just need to do both diagonals 😮‍💨

I haven't posted any updates on my quilt because I'm worried the recipient will see. But I'm getting towards the end and with that I'm getting more risky out of excitement 😂.

This is a queen size (I hope!) penguin quilt. I made all the penguins by piecing fabric together and then checkered them with other fun fabrics.

I took this picture before spray and pin basting the quilt layers together

Now all I have to do is sew the layers together by machine (lines) and by hand (around the penguins). Then cut off the excess around the edges that you see here and finish by sewing the edge on.

I took my shoes off so I could walk on the quilt without getting it dirty.... But then I stood on the ground..... So now I'll be brushing off all the little pebbles as I sew 🤦‍♀️😂💛
