A summer without a vacation. Just stolen moments: a half day, a single overnight, time I could barely afford to spare. A Monday I took off with Chris while our kids were in California to visit the Catskills. A Tuesday where we visited the Natural History Museum and I watched my kids climb rocks in Central Park. An overnight stay in an Airstream at AutoCamp and a little morning hike to Saugerties lighthouse. A beautiful birthday dinner at Goosefeather. A morning I took off to take the kids to brunch and a playground. An early evening spent playing basketball at Smith Park, and a picnic after markets. No, it wasn’t the most glamorous or sexy summer. For the most part, we worked. Our kids watched too much TV. We brought on new team members, trained them and promised to ourselves that next year will be different. Entrepreneurship is a grind. Still wouldn’t trade it for a thing. You all keep us going, and for the record, we had an amazing summer. Can’t wait until the season where chocolate doesn’t melt!

We make things by hand. Often in a group we call “piping circle”. Women, moms, former corporate warriors, people who have found themselves in my kitchen, often tired from a lifetime of putting others first. Our hands perform the work, almost meditatively, while we chat, heal, connect. We share stories, swap dinner recipe ideas, and talk about parenting challenges. It’s magic captured in a can, created from a true labor of love, made with intention, care and connection. ❤️

We just love Irvington Farmer’s Market! Fresh produce, crisp air, and even crispier mini crisps 🍪! We will be at Irvington every other Sunday this fall: September 6, 20, October 4, 18 and November 1 and 18.

Chappaqua Farmers Market is our home base, and while we may not personally be there as often anymore (as much as we want to!), it doesn’t mean we don’t hear from our team just how much support and love we receive. From neighbors, parent friends, community members and Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce, it’s no wonder it’s our top market. I will always remember driving through the train station lot from Astoria as we began our house hunt. It was April and markets hadn’t started yet, plus it was in the early days of Covid, in 2020. Even though the world felt dark and scary and it was still so cold out, the Chappaqua Farmers Market banner made me feel cozy and at home. It was at that moment that I knew this was the place for us and our growing family. Now looking back, I could have never imagined just how truly it was meant to be. We ❤️Chappaqua! My days are long and nights are even longer. The work doesn’t stop and we’re just getting started. You all can’t get enough of our outrageously addictive brown butter rice cereal treats… and honestly this is the one thing that I make that I just can’t get sick of. It’s so good, plus they’re gluten free! Pick them up at your local farmers market, or online for pick up or shipping!
