From right back to my stomping grounds, I came across a brand that immediately caught my attention — STALLY, founded by NFL player Ike Boettger. 🐎

I think I’ve mentioned before that we seem to be in a season of “new.” A season where opportunities keep finding their way to us, and lately I’ve felt this pressure to make decisions quickly about things that really aren’t quick decisions.

And that’s been hard in a season where I’m trying so intentionally to slow down. Which, some days, feels nearly impossible with four little ones under 8. 😂

But tonight, as I watched the sun set, I was reminded that sometimes slowing down is exactly what we’re supposed to do. To stop and pay attention to what’s right in front of us — whether that’s a sunset, a moment of quiet, or these babies who somehow keep growing right before my eyes.

I was reminded that God’s intentions aren’t rushed or impulsive. They’re thoughtful. They’re intentional. They’re curated in ways we often can’t see while we’re standing in the middle of them.

So tonight I’m clinging to that.

I chose option B over option A. I chose what I felt like I needed to choose over what I thought I originally wanted. And maybe that’s the point.

Maybe God is planting me exactly where I’m supposed to be right now — in the now. In this present season. In the messy, beautiful, ordinary moments that I’m so easily tempted to rush past while trying to figure out what’s next.

What’s meant to be will be.

And I don’t have to force it, rush it, or figure it all out.

For now, I’m going to slow down, soak it in, and trust that the One who brought the opportunities in the first place knows exactly where they’re supposed to lead.
