Just some new awesomeness that came OUT OF THE BOX you should know about: books on dogs, books on birds, we got good old-fashioned nostalgia, some shiny local war stories, signed first-edition kids books, and some great surveys of street art. That’s just today. Tomorrow, more books on the occult, music, poetry, and goddess knows what else. You just never know what’s going to come out of the box.

In the 90s, Madonna released a large-format spiral bound book simply titled “Sex” that gave the family values crowd one long conniption fit. Photographed by Steven Maisel, the imagery and sparse writing documented her sexcapades in a clear nod to Helmut Newton and Robert Mapplethorpe, a kind of erotic diary with a hit parade of celebrities, some hot (Isabella Rosselini) and some not (Vanilla Ice). We get asked about this book a lot, but this is the first time it’s come in. Still in the foil wrapper designed to resemble a condom, comes with a CD of exclusive remixes, missing the comic, some minor rubbing to boards, still Near Fine. $200. Get here or DM because this one will get off quick. 😈♥️✨💋
