As a Sacramento Public Library Friends member, I attended a class visit on Tuesday to give two classes of first graders each a free book and talk to them about the library. A Sacramento Public Library librarian and a Friends of the Sacramento Public Library member go together to first grade classrooms all over the county and city of Sacramento. To say the kids are excited about getting a free book they can take home is an understatement. Please help us continue this tradition and support The Friends by donating to us for the Big Day of giving.
