I have spent all summer curating a list of ingredients from local farmers, urban gardeners and local makers to create our amazing 2026 Advent Calendar. Dropping this Thursday, October 8th.
Grapefruits from Kyle Hagerty | Urban Farmstead are one the 24 ingredients I was lucky enough to help harvest to make this years Advent unforgettable. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to get to create with some of the world’s most delicious farms and gardens. 😍

Thank you camellia coffee roasters for a warm and welcoming tour and education coffee cupping. Camilla the award winning roaster for Camellia Coffee walked us through a day in the life roasting coffee at their off-site location. We have been using Camellia Coffee in all of our drinks since they started roasting in 2016! They are a key ingredient in our amazing Mochas with fresh marshmallows!!

I had a great time Vin Laz Culinary 1 Classes at Consumnes Oaks High School. Teaching about couverture chocolate and why it needs to be tempered as well asking the kids and instructor questions to help me understand the future of this trade we call Culinary Arts. It’s always fun to chat Classic Sauces and techniques I learned many years ago. It was so fun to hear why these kids decided to take this course and how engaged they all were by the end. Teaching always helps to inspire other areas of my profession and life and I was glad I made the visit! Thank you to all those teachers out there everywhere!
