CAPA’s 70th Annual Convention & Exhibition is October 2–4 at the Sheraton San Diego Resort — and it’s time to lock in the extras.

💎 Exclusive GIA Tour — Friday, October 2, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. in Carlsbad (1 CE unit)
Guided tour of the GIA School of Gemology and Jewelry Arts, the Richard T. Liddicoat Gemological Library, the GIA Museum, plus lunch on the Oceanview Terrace overlooking the Pacific.
Space is limited. No GIA tour registrations after Tuesday, September 29 (GIA security deadline).

📚 CE sessions include:
• Sat 8:00 a.m. — “The First 60 Seconds: Stress-Testing Your Pawn Shop’s Cameras, Alarms and Access Control” (1 CE)
• Sat 2:30 p.m. — Pawnbroker Lessons Learned (employers/managers) and White Glove Pawn Service (employees)
• Sun 8:00 a.m. — Top 10 Ways to Stay Out of Court (employers/managers, 1 CE)
• Sun 11:00 a.m. — CA State & Federal Compliance 301 (1 CE)

🦀 Saturday Evening Crab Feed — October 3 | $200 per person
Steamed snow crab clusters with all the fixings, live entertainment, a full bar under the evening sky, and an auction supporting CAPA’s advocacy, education, and programs.
