Thank you, Sacramento.

Last Saturday’s Midtown Record Swap-A-Palooza was our biggest and most ambitious event yet, and it wouldn’t have happened without all of you.

Thank you to everyone who attended, every vendor who set up, our musicians and DJs, food vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and the team at CLARA.

What started as a record swap has grown into something much bigger—a community gathering built around music, collecting, art, small businesses, and good people.

Seeing the rooms packed, the courtyard full, and so many familiar and new faces throughout the day reminded me why we do this.

Thank you for supporting local businesses, independent vendors, and live events.

We’re already working on the next one.

We are very fortunate to have Michaela, one of the Organizers of the San FranciscoZine Fest joining us today! She puts on Zine Workshops for kids and she very generously offered to organize one for us! How rad is that?

No experience, no supplies, no idea what to make? No problem!

She has all the supplies you’ll need and I’m sure she can help you find your inspiration.

She will be setup in the courtyard with , , a curated lineup of other local creatives and of course, some fun live music from 10-4.

The Kids Zone will be crackin’ with its Kids Zine Workshop, slew of Tiny Games and kids only dance area!

We are fortunate to documenting the Swap tomorrow. Amanda has a unique perspective and a developed..no pun intended, aesthetic that is very attractive. I’m excited to see her take on the event.

We didn’t have to reach far, as Amanda is the lovely wife to none other than one of our longest partnered vinyl sellers, and incredible mom to their two kiddos! But we’ll just consider ourselves lucky to have such creative and delightful people to work with in our midst.

So, if you see her roaming around, say hi and act natural! Maybe you’ll be lucky enough that her lens will catch you. And give her account a follow to catch all the goings on. Of course, she’s available to shoot your wedding or your divorce or your family pics or events or whatever you wanna’ document for eternity.

Ryan and Amanda are two of the absolute sweetest people I’ve been fortunate enough to meet from our community. Much like Mrs. Record Rack and myself, they make really cute kids too! And don’t sleep on tables at the show tomorrow. He ALWAYS has an amazing selection to dig through and I know tomorrow is no exception.

Just 36 hours til we Swap-A-Palooza all over the !

I have to say, the amount of outside energy, direction, commitment and support that is coming my way over the past couple days, from a lot of people..a lot of you guys..is making me feel all warm and fuzzy. Whether it’s the vinyl community, the toy sellers, musicians, DJs or local creatives/brands..it’s all one big community. One big community of neighbors, like minded people, artists and taste makers.

Honestly, it’s a major part of the goal with this event. That is, to expand beyond the record sellers we normally get to support and highlight and spread some of that Love to our friends and colleagues. All while offering those communities, the surrounding neighbors of the Clara, Parents with kids and everyone else who’s interested, a space to come enjoy a day of peace and fun and to do that without having to spend money.

Of course, my main goal is the same as always. That is, to make sure all vendors who put so much work into these events, have a successful day of sales. So..I hope you do choose to support all this creativity and that you find some rad stuff to take home with you! But if you just need to recharge with some live music or occupy your kids for extended periods of time..we’ve got you covered Sacramento!

Yo! This cat has mad fits for the heads and heavies. It’s too. If you know , then you already are tapped in. I know I’ve been rocking my five panel “Been Digging” cap since I got it at second anniversary party. I get up to get down in this piece. Sweat it up. Getting sticky trim resin on it. Last week it was glue from postering. Throw it in the wash and it’s brand f’n new. I can’t wait to cop some new fits.

The homie will be setup in the courtyard with Tie Dye Bob, , a curated lineup of other local creatives and of course, and crew spinning wax AND some fun live music from 10-4.
