Hey Saginaw friends! Typically, I only post about antiques, but bit of an odd request coming your way. I have 2 German volunteers that will be in Saginaw Oct 24th through November 6th as chaperones for a group of German teens. They are coming through a nonprofit group, so we need to find volunteer host “families” for them. The chaperoning will keep them busy during the day, but we need a home for each of for them to relax at during the evenings and on the one full weekend they are here.

Both are young professions and have great English skills. LMK if you can either help by hosting or can spread the word. It’s all appreciated!

Update: Renovations at the new building are coming along (aka new building not yet open)!

Bigger Update: We remain open at the “old” location (yeah, we’ve heard the rumors, but here we are!)

Largest Update: “New” things are still appearing on the floor! Not only that, but “old” items are hitting the half off and 75% off booths.

Update time:
We’ve had a lot of people asking when we are moving, and the truth is, we don’t know for sure. As my husband keeps telling me, “We only have 1 shot to get this the way we really want it to be.”

And he’s right.

Between working a full time job, running the current location, and remodeling the building (not to mention the “small stuff” like the impaired driver who hit the new location and other fun times) 2026 has been A LOT, but we are making progress and intend to occupy our new space sometime this fall.

What I do know for sure is that we are still open at the current location BUT I need a couple of days of R & R. We will reopen Wednesday, July 15.

If you need a good plaster guy, Rob worked miracles in the new building. We had a lot of water damage that needed repair. Extremely happy with his work (this is just a small sample).

The moving sale continues with so much ephemera!

Beautiful vintage magazines, one of a kind, postcards and pictures, and some far out booklets. Perfect for scrapbook, history buffs, or someone looking for something small to start collecting. Lots of Saginaw history in these bins as well as some amazing decorative ideas. Boxes put out fresh today.

Lots to dig through!
Bins range from a dollar each to four items for a dollar. The more you buy the better the deal!
