It’s something that I’ve been wanting to try my hand at for some time now and I’ll be honest I’m hooked! I’ve had writers cramp since dad passed and this got me thinking again…

Hopefully I’ll be able to do this more often! It was a awesome, checked it out w/ and we got to meet who was on the Forged In Fire tv show and who left me some creative room on my sheath for me to do my thing 👊 thanks brother!

Definitely recommend everyone is really down to earth and excited for you to try your hand at blacksmithing so don’t be shy friends!

Hand made: knife, fire steel, and sheath.. Not bad for a graduation gift.

A knife that won’t break the bank with a sheath to match and both built to last a lifetime.

Mora Garberg Carbon, full tang, 90° spine, high carbon steel.
Sheath includes a belt loop, 1/2”x5” fire steel holder and heavy duty stitching.

Well, moving houses and being back to work has put a hindrance on my leather craft.

Self taught means lots of research right? My cousin taught me the basics, that and a thirst for improving my skills has gotten me to this point. I’ve gotten better at machine sewing since this pic was taken, about a month ago.
I’ll post a pic of the underside if I remember tomorrow, it’s natural veg tan leather that will get a nice patina as it ages. This rifle sling features camo leather w black accents, hunter green stitching, adjustable buckle and nickel plated solid brass hardware. Made to last a lifetime w proper care and would be an excellent hand me down in the future.

Just whipped up a lil something as I wait for some parts to come in. I plan on putting a swivel snap up top, a lil something for my go-bag. Also a trial run for my G-Shock
