Today is my 13 year Avon Anniversary.

Thirteen years ago today I met my District Sales Manger (we had them back then) at Starbucks. My daughter just started all day Kindergarten and my son was in preschool part of the day. I was a SAHM at the time and wasn’t quite ready to go back to work but I needed something to do with extra time on my hands and extra money would be nice. So I decided to join Avon. At the time it was $10 and I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. The first campaign I broke even and then slowly gained more customers.

I’m still here 13 years later. Those young kids are now a junior and senior in high school. I went back to a regular job full time but I still do Avon. I’ve seen a lot of changes including ownership and everything else. My business survived a pandemic. Ive met many customers who became friends and met many Avon Ambassadors from around the country. I’ve attended conventions in Columbus and Boston and tracked all over Michigan for training and networking opportunities.

I’m grateful to my Avon family, customers, friends and family for supporting me these last 13 years. I don’t know what the future holds but I look forward to the next 13 years. Thank you for letting me be your Ambassador.
