Important Notice to our Valued Customers,

We believe that one of the keys to a successful retail business is consistency, and for nearly 20 years, we have worked hard to maintain the same store hours and annual sale weekends. However, as costs for products, property taxes, utilities, and insurance continue to rise, we have reached a point where our current model is no longer sustainable. We have absorbed as much as we could in order to keep our consistency going, but to ensure we can continue serving our community, we are making the following changes effective immediately:

Changes to Store-Wide Sales:

We will no longer host store-wide sales. Since covid, attendance for these events has not fully recovered, and with the rising costs of postage and advertising, it just doesn't pencil out anymore. Instead, we will transition to limited, themed sales that align with the St. Ansgar Chamber schedule of events:

-St. Ansgar Garage Sales- Sale on all Spring Decor.
- Town and Country Days: Sale on all Americana decor.
- Fall Festival: Sale on all Fall decor.
- Hometown Christmas: Sale on all Christmas decor.

How You Can Support Us:

We are incredibly grateful for this community and hope to be here for many years to come. Here are a few ways you can help!

- Buy Local: Every purchase, no matter how small, helps keep our hometown stores in business.
- Pay with Cash or Check: This helps us avoid extra credit card processing fees.
- Stay Connected: Join our email list (located at the checkout counter )or follow our page.
- Recycle: Bring in your lightly used vases for us to reuse; it helps both the environment and our shop.
- Spread the Word: Share our social media posts and bring your friends to the store. Word of mouth has ALWAYS been our best advertising!

We’ve made it through the 2008 recession, covid, and tariffs, and we will continue to work hard to adjust and adapt! Thank you for your understanding and for your support. We hope to be able to serve this wonderful community for as long as possible!

Our inventory of Joel's pieces has been getting low (which is a good thing!😅) so I sweet talked him into parting with one of his earlier pieces!👏 It's one of my favorites! 😍

This is a very large vase with the most beautiful fancy burls (which is why he had been holding on to it for himself 😉)
It measures 16"x 27" with walnut being the main wood, and wenge, cherry, and redwood burl as the accent woods. It's so impressive, pictures never do it justice.

While we carry several of his smaller pieces here at the shop, his larger, more recent vessels are currently for sale at Natural Images Art Gallery in the subway level of the Mayo Clinic building and at the Hilton Building in Rochester. Be sure to stop by and admire those if you have time in between appointments!🥰
