With heavy hearts and grateful memories, we invite everyone former coworkers, friends, family, customers, and all whose lives were touched by Cliff Wright to join us in celebrating his life.

Following the service, there will be food and refreshments, along with time to gather, share stories, and remember Cliff the way he would’ve wanted… surrounded by great people & great food.

Please come as you are. Your presence truly means a lot to our family and to all who loved Cliff.

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford Wright. In 2007, Cliff began Silver Dollar City in the Goin’ Postal located at the Lewis Point Plaza over the past 18 years. Cliff’s mission was to provide “Quality Coins for Collectors and Investors”.
We will be announcing a celebration of life that will be in February at the Eleven22 Church at the Lewis Point Plaza, where Silver Dollar City is located. Our hearts are with Cliff and his family at this time.

The store will still remain open normal business hours as we decide the next steps.

Cliff truly made a huge impact on everyone he met, and he will be dearly missed.

Rest easy, Cliff.

Over the past few years, we’ve seen a noticeable rise in counterfeit coins entering the market. If you’re ever curious, stop by and take a look at some of the fake coins we’ve collected over time.

If you’ve purchased a coin online and aren’t sure about its authenticity, bring it in—we’re happy to test it for free.

We also encourage you to bring in coin collections for appraisal. We offer free appraisals, and if you have a large collection, you’re welcome to leave it with us—we’ll carefully review it and give you a call once we’re finished.

As the largest coin store in St. Augustine, we’re proud to be buying and selling six days a week. 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for us. While the look of the store may be changing, our values—and our commitment to our customers—will not.
