Featuring this series of dishes at a five star hotel in Tuscany this month reminded me how much we all love it. I wanted to show you “in person” how stunning each hand crafted Murano glass plate is.

Maria Cristina Andretto uses Murano glass hand made in Venice to create each plate by hand. She carefully cuts, heats and molds each plate and bowl to create the masterpieces for a stunning tablesetting.

Seeing each plate and bowl with their unique patterns flowing through the glass reminds me of how incredible the tradition of Murano glass is and how special it is to serve your family and guests on such beautiful pieces of art.

Time spent with people we care about gives us opportunities to connect and to bond-setting a table with hand crafted dishware also creates a connection between you and the artisan. It enhances our experiences and our memories.
