A rare 1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar MS65 just sold for $1.18 million at GreatCollections 😳

Why so much $$? Rarity & grade.

Only 100,000 1893-S Morgan Dollars were produced at the San Francisco Mint. Most entered circulation, and relatively few survived in truly high grades.

PCGS estimates that approximately 9,948 examples survive in all grades — including just 123 in Mint State and only 18 graded MS-65 or better.

And the coin that just sold? It’s one of only three PCGS MS-65 examples with CAC approval.
That’s the difference between a silver dollar and a great rarity.

Have a Morgan Dollar collection sitting at home? Bring it in. You might have something far more interesting than you realize.

We finally got our hands on the rare July 4th privy mark quarter 🪙

This Declaration of Independence quarter had a limited montage of 250,000 pieces mixed randomly into bank rolls and circulation

We put out an $100 bounty on it back in July and one of our clients brought one in yesterday! We’re sending it off to NGC for grading - will keep you posted

This card sold for whaaat? 🤯

I bought this Steph Curry Gold Moment In Time # /50 from a long-time client for $7000 raw

Then, we sent it off to PSA for $600 to get it graded express

It came back a PSA 🔟 so we sent it off to Dcsports87 and the auction went crazy

The card sold for $25,178

With a consignment fee of $761, the grading fee, shipping fees, and the cost of the card, that’s a $16,767 profit

If you get your hands on a big card in mint shape, grade it quick and move it quick. DC Sports 87 is the way to go!! Thank you to the team over there 🤝
