Traffic alert for anyone heading our way this weekend.

Indiana Ave is still blocked between 7th and 10th Ave while T-Mobile installs fiber. This is the road most people take from downtown St. Charles, so if that's your usual route, plan for a detour.

If you're coming from the west side of town, here's the easiest way in: 13th Ave to Indiana Ave, right at our door.

We're at 1501 Indiana Ave, Unit 1A, St. Charles.
We're open and easy to find, just a small workaround to get here this week.

A local photographer, Chris Hodge, chodgephoto, stopped by recently with his film camera and captured the store in a way we don't often see it.

Something about black and white brings out the textures in this place, the old signage, the glass, the character in every piece.

Our vintage clothing area is currently home to Corrine's Closet, a pop-up sale we took over from our neighbors at trend + relic. Every piece was part of a young woman named Corrine's personal collection, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in her memory.

Stop in and shop with purpose. Every item sold helps fund research toward beating this disease.

These three original paintings by Carl Hayano have been hanging in our store for a few weeks now, and the response has been remarkable.

James put together a short video explaining what makes them so visually captivating -- and telling the story of Hayano's childhood, when his family was among the 120,000 Japanese Americans forcibly relocated to internment camps during World War II. It took him decades before he was ready to talk about it.

After two weeks of tent sale chaos, James finally got a day off. So naturally, he spent it shopping at other vintage stores.

He stopped by Remix Market Chicago in Elgin and Beyond Grandma’s House in Chicago, two shops that share our philosophy of keeping good stuff out of landfills.

Even on his day off, the man can't stay away from a good find.
