Cam is definitely Employee of the Month for August!
He has really stepped up for us while we've been out of town for most of the month "all but 4 days".
I was able to get him approximately 150 LP's to put out on the floor this weekend to freshen up the New Arrival Bins. Some pretty good stuff should be out there by today.

I want to touch on a few things in this post and respond to a couple of questions that we've seen an uptick on recently.

#1 Do we ship and how much is this or that?
Answer: No, we don't ship, we don't sell on Ebay, Discogs, or WhatsApp etc.
We've always felt it's hard enough to accommodate our regular walk-in customers requests that go out of their way to come in and dig through our huge selection of stuff. I've also never felt a need to post prices of anything to sell it. My #1 goal since we started has always been to sell and buy as much as I can. I will overpay for items and I will give plenty of deals at random to all of our in-store customers. I post pics of New Arrival's when they come in and then process them. If you see something in those pics that you want, come in and look for it. If you don't find it, ask us where it is and we will always help.

#2 When can I bring in some stuff?
Answer: I'm here today but not sure about tomorrow or until the Wednesday after Labor Day.
While we've been gone for all but 3 days this month so far, Cam "with some weekend help from tall Mike" has handled everything as I expected they would. You can bring stuff in and they will tag it with your info. When I get back, I will go through it and cash you out.

#3 What's up with the upstairs?
Answer: Pretty much got the outside of the building done.
Some pics of Before and After below. We still need some cedar posts installed, some landscaping, and windows finished up. Then we plan on starting the process of making the upstairs an extension of Hoarders Trading Post. Ultimately, we plan on having a huge Clothing/Posters/Gifts/Memorabilia area, Video Games area, and an impressive electronics area.
Hopefully we can get this done before Black Friday RSD!

Got back to work today and stayed very busy cleaning and pricing some of the New Arrival's to get out on the floor!

We were shocked at the sudden passing of Dolly Parton. She was a true Icon and will be missed all over the world.
RIP Dolly! Heaven got one of our greats today.

Reminder: We are CLOSED for sure Monday AND Tuesday this week for the exterior paint job to be finished up. There's a small possibility of being closed on Wednesday, I will keep you updated.

The next 2 weeks we will be closed on Monday AND Tuesday. There's work being done on the building those couple of days and they will be using rolling lift trucks.

I got the New Arrival Bins and Bargain Bins topped off. I also have a nice size stockpile of priced LP's ready to hit the floor as space allows.

Reminder: Please hold off bringing in anything to sell for the next 2 weeks. We are very full and there won't be anyone available to cash you out.

Side note: We had to take a bunch of stuff off the floor so people could get into the store. The 4k+ rap, house, trance, pop 12" singles and LP's that I got on Monday have been taken off the floor. Along with all the 45's. I will let you know when I will be putting them out and making them available for purchase.

I will work on getting out as many of these latest new arrivals as I possibly can.

New Arrivals
A couple of collections were obtained over the last 12 or so days I've been absent at the store.
The main collection was this
4k+ LP's and 12" Singles collection that is pictured.
There's a little bit of everything but mostly Rap, House, Pop, etc..
Definitely some OG Gems in there! Tons of Test Pressings, some sealed etc..

800+ LP's, classic rock A-Z types

There is a bunch of other stuff that came in while I was gone, but I haven't had anytime to go through those collections.

Buying anything is paused until Tuesday next week. You can do a drop off and then I will call you as soon as I can get to it.
There will be a small window on Tuesday and Wednesday where I will be available for purchases that are brought in. I also might be able to ad Monday to the mix if I'm available to open up the store on Monday.

July was a crazy good month at Hoarders Trading Post! We are very thankful for all of your support!
I haven't been around much this past week, but I am out digging where I plan to open up a new store called "Hoarders South".
More to come on that topic.

Before I left, I did get in a sweet metal collection and a couple other record collections but didn't have much time to deal with the LP's. I did stick Cam on the CD's, Cassettes and concert DVD's. He should have most of those ready to go.
I also left him 150 or so priced LP'S to put out on the floor as space allows.
