Today the Agape Thrift Store will be closed for clean up, and to get caught up as well. So our bag sales will be on Friday and Saturday from 9 am till 3 pm this week.
I didn't want you all to miss out on the sale. We are still taking donations from 9 am till 3 pm at the dock
today. I am truly sorry for any inconveniences that this may cause. We are trying our best. We still have a few who are still out due to jobs, or illnesses, and other causes that keep our workers from coming in. So please bear with those who have stuck it out with us, as we try and work through all of this.
You know I've been thinking, when October 18, 2026 we will be in the new place for a year. I like to do something special for everyone, for making all this happen. I need to talk it over with all the volunteers to find out what they may suggest and I'll post it on that day.
I truly hope in the Lord Jesus Christ that you all will have a wonderful and glorious day. Amen
God bless everyone!!! ❤️

I'm going to have to close today. I will have the dock open for donations.
Yesterday, we had been hit with so much that one or 2 people wouldn't be able to do this. I had worked so hard trying to get caught up and I only got not even half way through it from what we've gotten.
It wouldn't be as bad, but before closing we got hit with 2 big donation which filled almost the back area up. And you all know me, I will stay late and which I did last night. Thanks to Steve for coming up, we've got the furniture down, but we still have a lot to do to get caught up. I'm going to try and make up for you because last week with me being so sick. I hope you all understand. After this, I'm hoping to be back on track. I did know this was going to happen after being closed and opening back up. At least I kept up for the most part till I couldn't anymore.
I truly hope you all understand? Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful and glorious day. With Love Theresa.
God bless you all!!! ❤️

Thank you all for the prayers. I'm starting to feel so much better and getting stronger. The reason why I haven't been open yet, the doctor told me to take this week off and try the following week to get to see how things go.
So this next week, I will be open from 9am till 3pm Monday thru Friday. Saturday, I'm open from 9 am till 12 pm. I hope to see you all then. Thank you all again 💖
God bless you all!!! ❤️

I'm truly sorry that I had to close earlier. Something was going on with me that made me feel like I was in a fog, or something. I just can't really explain it. So, I made an appointment to see the doctor. Tomorrow, they're sending me to get a CT of my brain to find out what is going on or to see how bad the sinus and ear infection really is. As of right now, the doctor doesn't want me to try and run the store till I start feeling better. I am truly sorry, I was really hoping that I was getting better.
I will let you all know if when I can open. Again, I'm truly sorry.

The Agape Thrift Store will be open today around 11:00 or so.
I want to take this time to let everyone know that, I truly do not like what happened at the store last week it truly upsets me so bad. No one is allowed behind the counter, or in the sorting room unless you have donations or that you're a volunteer. What happened last week was totally uncalled for. I will have to ask you to leave if I see this again. And the one who we caught on camera, you are banned from the store. When you come in, I will ask you to leave, if you don't, I will have the police es**rt you out. We will be getting another camera for the sorting room after what happened. And the one I didn't catch rummaging through the bags of clothes, while one of our volunteer was putting stuff on shelves. When I find out who you are, you will be banned too.

It seems when you're so weak, the devil just keeps kicking you down. Thanks to the good Lord, I'm much stronger, and awhole lot better, praise God!!! And feeling like myself again. Thank you Lord!!! ❤️

Thank you all for all that you've done to help us stay going here. We wouldn't have done this without you. For your honesty, for watching our back, your support, and so much more.
And all the wonderful volunteers that we have that stepped it up, when I was so sick. You all have been such a blessing to me.
I also want to make a special thank you to Mike. See, he volunteers at Agape Christian Care Center(Agape House)for going above and beyond for all of us. He loves helping where he can for the Lord, and for people. Keep it up, I want to thank you for the donation you gave last night, it truly means a lot. Thank you and God bless you!!! ❤️

I hope you all have a wonderful and joyous day in the Lord Jesus Christ 🙌💖.
God bless you all!!! 💖

The day I took sick, someone decided to come behind the counter and helped themselves to the jewelry. What makes it so bad that I had trusted this person as a customer. It took another customer to bring me the bag of jewelry that I had under the counter. I kept telling her thank you and another customer came up to me with an earring, and my daughter found a wad of necklace tangled together too me. I asked my son-in-law to look on the camera to find out who did. And I'm so very disappointed 😞.
If I catch you doing this again, you will be banned from the store. All it takes is one to start a domino effect. I definitely don't need that. I was so upset when I saw this, because I never had anyone snooping behind my counter. I guess for now on, I'm going to have to move everything to keep this from happening again. It's just so sad 😢.
