Today was one of those days at the flower shop that I just don’t want to forget. ❤️💐

An 81-year-old bride-to-be came through our doors today to order flowers for her very first wedding.

She has never been married. Instead, she has spent her life serving others—as a missionary, a pastor, a medical lab technician, and a counselor. We stood there listening as she shared pieces of her story, and I couldn’t help but think about what a beautiful life she has lived.

And now, at 81 years young, she’s getting married. 🥹❤️

There was just something so incredibly sweet about sitting with her, talking about her wedding and helping her choose flowers for a day she has waited a lifetime to experience.

What a beautiful reminder that God is still writing our stories, no matter our age. There is no expiration date on new beginnings, answered prayers, or falling in love.

We are absolutely honored that she chose Good News to be a tiny part of this chapter of her story, and we can hardly wait to create her wedding flowers for September 5th. 💐

This one is going to be extra special. ❤️

🍬😎 Beau is at it again... and this time he's putting his taste buds to the test!

We blindfolded Beau and challenged him to identify some of our candies using only his taste buds! 👀🙈 Emma enjoyed stuffing his face with these candies! 😄

Will he know the difference between a Skinny Dipped Malt Balls and Peanut Butter and Chocolate covered pretzels? Can he name them all... or will he be completely stumped? 😂
