✨ We have a BIG little dream for our community… ✨

Our goal is to create a one-stop, completely FREE community shop—a welcoming outdoor space where neighbors can take what they need, give what they can, and discover a little joy along the way. 🫶🏻

We’re dreaming of several small, ever-changing exchanges, including:

📚 A little free library
🥕 A fresh vegetable and produce exchange
🪴 A small plant and seed swap
🔑 A friendship keychain exchange
🎅 Letters to Santa
🎃 Letters to the Pumpkin King
✨ Plus new seasonal surprises throughout the year!

The items may change, but the message will always remain the same:

❤️ Take what you need.
❤️ Give what you can.
❤️ Share the joy.

We’re looking for help bringing this neighborhood project to life!

Right now, we’re asking for building supplies—or generous hands willing to help us build and install the weatherproof exchange boxes—including exterior wood, posts, screws, hinges, roofing materials, paint, sealer, and clear acrylic.

We will be so grateful for donations of books, plants, seeds, garden vegetables, handmade keychains, and other small items that could be shared with our community in the future also, so put anything you want to share aside for when we are ready. 💁🏻‍♀️🫶🏻

Every donated item, shared post, helping hand, and kind gesture moves this dream one step closer to reality.

Together, through small acts of kindness, we can build a stronger community—and a better world. 🫶🏻🌎

Deals on deals on deals💁🏻‍♀️

Happy Saturday, folks! ✨

While I don’t normally respond to messages about Ava’s Closet on my personal page, I did feel the need to do so today.

If you’ve seen my posts elsewhere, you might’ve seen that I am giving away some gently used clothes for free. However, there is no “Free” rack at the closet currently.

‼️(Side note in and of itself: if you’re curious about what is being given away, look on the Saint Clairsville page for my original post. All info is there.)‼️

These items are packaged separately in a different location. Free items are not at my in-person shop.

They’re to be claimed in the comment section of the original post, then privately discussed with me personally about a date and time to meet for pickup.

Again, all items on my original “Comment to Claim” post are for free.

🤦🏼 The confusion started because there is no section of free merchandise in person.

The $5 bin of items is priced firmly at $5 per item, or in some cases, less. These are not free items.

I do my best to articulate the plans accurately and clearly, but I did feel the need to further clarify here with this post.

Long story short, nothing here in-person is free. Prices on items $5 or less are especially firm.
