Chad Valley doll, late 1920s to early 1930s
English cloth doll with moulded felt face, painted eyes and mouth, fine hair and jointed cloth body. She has the blue Chad Valley button that was discontinued in the early 1930s, according to Colette Mansell's "The Collector's Guide to British Dolls since 1920" (p. 45). RARE
