Aaron has officially been discharged from the hospital as of yesterday afternoon 🎉 he’s medically and physically cleared. The one set back he had during his stay was he did lose almost his entire memory at one point which has slowly started coming back over the last couple weeks. He’s started to remember my sisters and me, people from the shop and places. The doctors are confident more will keep coming back they are just unsure what or how long it’ll take. (for example he struggles remembering some of his hobbies or things about the shop)

He still has a very long road of recovery especially mentally but he’s through the worst of it in my opinion. Thank you to everyone who supported/thought about my family during this time and thank you to everyone who continued to support the shop along with helping me learn as I’ve been going!

At some point when he’s a little more adjusted to being home we will likely bring him to the shop for a few hours if people would like to visit him or come say hi, I’m just not fully sure when that will be yet but I’ll keep people posted!

After a scary and back stepping start to the week trying to work my dad (Aaron) off the temp shunt the doctors determined he will need a permanent one that they successfully had a surgery for this morning. He’s moving out of the ICU today to a normal room where he begins PT. He’s still having trouble with memory as that was part of the issues at the start of the week but he seems to be improving as the days go on and remembering more and more 😥
