It looks like our new color (Baby Bass) Trick Stick & Yomama will work real well.. The Trick Stick is paired well with our new finesse jig we call WaJig.. while the Smajig always compliments a Yomama.. they were eating that too.. most all lakes are going right now with bass and walleye eating these jigs and plastics.. look for them on our website, Leenalures.com.. although, we might continue to “test” the Baby Bass color a little while longer before it goes on our website🤷

Another fun week for Leena Lures Guiding and Services.. we were able to continue testing our new jig.. thanks to Captain Matt Klug for helping me with this .. meet the WaJig “Walleye Jig”.. although we think it will go to retail differently than we originally planned, we are very excited about the versatility of this jig.. add a nightcrawler or a leech to it or your favorite piece of plastic.. it’s going to catch fish.. We also are testing our new small compact spinner bait.. we want to “tweak” a couple more things to make it better but it caught nice bass and huge crappies during our tests.. I also jumped into the boat of a couple new friends..to guide them on a few tips and tricks for catching fish in central Minnesota.. and to end the week we brought our Build-a-Lure program to Bennet’s Birthday party where they built a bunch of custom Happy Birthday Bennett lures..great fun for the kids.. a well needed day in the shop tomorrow then back to Tonka for a couple trips this week.. Looking forward to a fun week of fishing for sure..

The Best Buy charity event held on Lake Minnetonka is undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable events we participate in each year. Guides are given the chance to host a wide range of guests, many of whom get to experience fishing for the first time or rekindle a past hobby. Operating from a pontoon boat can be a challenging experience, but the process has becomes more efficient with each event. Best baits for us.. 1/4oz Smajig and 4” Trick Stick with Flipper Blade in 10-15’ and a Natural 1/2oz spinner baits cast over w**d flats.. Below, you'll find some of the best fish catches from the recent event. Each team is asked to capture their experience through a group photo. This year, I had the opportunity to work with Legrand and TCL staff, along with Best Buy partners.
